Yep. All you get now is how bad games are when they are actually so much better than they were in the past. Remember that we had lots of games in the past that we disliked too, but funnily enough people forget that little fact.

Rosy retrospection, as it is called. Each era of gaming has its own pros *and* cons. As a gamer, I've learned to enjoy whatever game I can.

Realism is at the expense of the experience, and playability.
A game is not real life, and shouldn't try to be.

So true, games that get hate today, I actually enjoyed playing through... Of course some minor issues with modern games, I still love the games I loved back then too. Gatekeeping, modern or retro, only hurts the gamers. I'll play Forspoken and then play Wolverine: Adamantium Rage and enjoy every second.
