Any snapmap map makers out there? I got an interesting problem I need to solve...

Here is the scenario:
I have a room that has a damaged airlock that's venting air to the outside. When the player opens one of the other doors in the room the air rushes into the room he/she is in
and keeps them from entering.

Now I did this I used blocking volume and some vortex generators to simulate the air rushing into the room.

Now here is my problem:

it closes they turn off.
I have the player hit a switch to close the airlock door. This gets rid of the blocking volumes, plays a sound of a closing door, gets rid of the hazard and changes the alert on their HUD. But how do I keep the vortexes from activating again for good?

Ideas ?
I played with the logic gates and they stayed on all the time or never turn off
and signal repeaters left a visual flash do to the delay in them turning on and
the off signal hitting them.

Help is very welcome.
