Mech Frog asks "Why Do We Love the Crab?" Leaving aside the inevitable carcinization of everything, the Crab almost perfectly balances the armor-firepower-mobility triangle for a 50-ton Medium mech. Even in downgraded CRB-20 form, its armor is still sufficient for raiding. Its energy weaponry means it's not dependent on ammo in the field. Mech Frog asks, "Why Do We Love the Marauder II?" Possibly one of the only good things coming from Wolf's Dragoons, this 100-ton assault mech continues to soldier on in the Ilkhan Era, bringing superior firepower and remarkable mobility for its size:
this is probably my all time fav assault
i mean nothing will scare the opfor more then a 100tn mech that can go vertical
the 5B (3050) and the 4S (3060s) are my preferred variants
gotta love a gauss rifle on these babies
sometimes though i will swap out the erppc for er large laser

the archer like the catapult is a mainstay mech for fire support and does a decent enough job of it
but for me just like with the catapult i prefer the crusader for a heavy class missile mech
