BEAM launched the beta of its Faster Than Light (FTL) technology on May 7, 2026. Since launch, our team has released 28 fixes and optimizations focused on improving reliability, reducing latency, and increasing overall performance across a wide range of streaming environments.

We are now beginning to see consistently ultra low latency results across the platform as FTL continues to mature under real world usage and stress testing. Based on current progress, BEAM is now targeting a full platform wide release of FTL on Monday, June 1, 2026.
