See that's the kind of gaming I am so jazzed about. There is an future game in the works called "Rooted" from Headlight Studio being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and it looks amazing. Going forward, gaming is just going to look incredible.
One of the UE5 tech demos a guy made showed how you could basically do Minecraft-like digging / building in UE5 , only it looks realistic with physics and everything. I'd LOVE to see a game like Minecraft (with a better story) but with the ability to build… See More
in UE5, dig underground, deformable terrain, the ability to make streams on your land, etc. That would be incredible.

It is pretty cool but I highly doubt Bethesda would ever abandon their Creation engine for Unreal. The big selling point of Creation engine is the ability for the character(s) to interact with each other and world items. Other engines tend to have issue with that along with the all of the other features (such as shadowing, NPCs, environment, plus more) which is why some games show limitations when it comes to interacting with world items and how the environment is affected by the player and NPCs.… See More
Its also one of the big reasons Fallout and Skyrim games have the type of glitches they have — they always push it as far as Creation Engine will allow them.
