Hello folks, and oodnight!
Another busy day for me. After work I managed to get the battery back in the car (I'd cleaned up the bracket that holds it in place and I've never done anything like this before) and I was so happy that the charger had done it's job perfectly. The car took a few seconds to start (after all, it had been sitting in the drive for a while) and I let it run for about 20 minutes just to get the engine working again. I'll check the tyres tomorrow and add more air to them and… See More
take it to the MOT centre on Thursday night so it can get it on Friday whilst I'm at work.
Then I need to pick it up, take it home and drop it at the garage 2 minutes from my house on Sunday night so the service can get done on Monday. The mechanic will fix anything that needs sorted if the MOT fails and take it to them (they are in the next town - 5 minutes away).
So hopefully I will have my car back on the road next week!
I was thrilled that it started up. Getting that £25 battery charger saved me at least £125 and it was nice to be in my own car again, even if Claire's is nicer.
Not much time for gaming tonight, but I think I'll go off and at least try something for a short while.
What type of car is it?
