Does anyone have experience with Ebay sales and investigations?
I sold a GPU roughly a month ago because I didn't need it anymore and it was expedited over the weekend to arrive on Feb 8th. The last thing on the tracking was Feb 6th Checked in at the processing facility and there has been no updates since. The buyer was refunded since he claimed it was not delivered so I did a little investigation myself.
Seems like the guy works at the USPS facility as a manager and he is also a part time streamer.… See More
I found him posting a video of the GPU installed on his PC on the same day it was supposed to be delivered. Paypal, facebook gaming channel, socials - all his handles are the same. I tried to convince eBay that it was the buyer but they are strictly looking at the "tracking number" to "update". I doubt that's happening. The buyer probably plucked the package right out in the middle of processing.
I'm stuck in an argument with eBay on how to proceed and USPS hasn't updated me on the investigations. I don't know what steps to take from here if my claim is denied from both of these companies so I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what to do.
Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the lengthy post.
If he did lift from facility he works at he committed a federal crime. I would involve the Postal Police (yes there is such a thing). By doing what he did at the very least he committed mail fraud. I certainly would inform them and save his VODs/Streams where he shows his "new" card. Give this info to them. Give them tracking number(s). Give them everything.

Patience is the key here and then threatening to never use them again for buying or selling if you get no joy. It took that for PayPal to get me a refund on a scam and I will never use them again regardless.
In the end, you might have to chalk it up to one of life's lessons. Of course, you could also use the evidence you have gathered to take the person to court, or at least hint at it. Is it worth it though? 🤷♂️
