I would not recommend under RX 550, RX 460, GTX 1030.
Used: RX 460 4GB, RX 560 4GB, RX 470/570, GTX 960, 1030 gddr5, 1050.

Of the two presented, the R7 240 is by far the best option.
However I must concur with others that neither one would really be worth it, both are severely outdated budget cards, and 4GB of GPU memory should be considered a minimum nowadays. I know you can't get that for less than $150aus though, so would advise perhaps taking Jacek's advice and trying to find a used RX card within budget.

For that price you should be able to get used rx560s, 470s or even 570s. With some luck. I suggest TechYesCity on YouTube for used bargains in Australia.
