PC update. So after many hours to think about it and much testing, I have decided to go with a new case to start with and see if more open space for air to move through helps with my issues.
I want to thank Rhys ApAthurwyn, Matej Lukan, Milos Dimitrijevic, Edwin Welch, Christian Zehring, Ross Doust, Tim Moss, and Gerald Buxton for giving me so much to think about, and for helping me in any way you could.
Now I need help figuring out what case to get.
My current case is an NZXT… See More

I only need space for 2 hdd's, and 1 ssd. I don't think I will be going back with a CD drive because it's been 5 years since I used a disc at all.
I just had a thought, and it might have been mentioned already and I missed it. Perhaps it's a power issue, is it getting good power both in voltage and current. Voltage regulation under load with the related increase in draw by the CPU, RAM, Mobo, HD/SSD and so forth as well as going back and forth between various loads on the PSU as components draw more and back down during gaming all the way down to idling, may elicit sags or surges in the voltage. That giving the GPU as well as other components… See More
a hard time while they clock up or down to follow, might be an issue. Sustained overvoltage in high power demand perhaps, that talks heat. Regulators on the components also create heat from losses in doing their job and the greater the difference between the input and the regulated output, the more heat.
I'm not questioning your PSU and I haven't looked at it's specs, just tossing out possible causes for your consideration.

cant say anything negative about the NZXT H700 when it comes to airflow - even gamers nexus who usually complain about everything say its a great case
