My Logitech G502 Hero mouse is experiencing phantom clicks and un-clicks.
Like if I am holding down the button to highlight text, it will act as if I released the button when I have not. Or if I do a single click, it will sometimes do a double click.
It's not that old. Any ideas on what I should try to do to fix it?

Seems this is a very common problem with the switches being used in most modern gaming mice. I found a guide that shows how to replace them with better quality… See More
switches.
I will give it a try when I have a chance and see how it goes.

No need to replace the switch, you can open the switch and fix it.

Shared and Good luck getting this fixed... I have seen this issue come and go on Razer, Logitech and one Dell mouse and I am never sure how I fixed it lol. It seems to stop all on its own sometimes. I have often wondered if it's the port, controller or software somehow as well as the mouse itself or switch...

Had this happen with my G502 Hero. Hit is with my electric duster to blow out the connectors and took care of it. My dogs hair gets into some strange places.
Other options would be uninstalling the drivers. Unplug the mouse. Reboot the system and then plug the mouse in.
Final option. Get rid of G Hub as it can be a beta nightmare and go back to Logitech Gaming Software.
