Something I've wondered, if you have 2 loops, one for the cpu/gpu block, and one just room temp water. and you sandwich fans between 2 radiators drawing air from the cooler water, through the fan over the hot radiator. Wouldn't the room temp water get cooler over time, and the hot get cooler than normal air?
(the fan in the middle was a compromise I came about in my thinking, originally, i thought a 3d printed cowl between the radiator, and a push or pull or both fan configuration, but the fan in… See More
the middle can move the air, and act like the cowl.)
I'm honestly wondering if this would work! or would a pump on the 2nd loop heat the water more than the radiator would cool? or maybe an empty pressurized and capped radiator, the air passing over it would make the air inside cooler!
another idea, and this was one I was thinking for a pumpless AIO, is to use a Tesla valve "valvular conduit" on either side of the cpu block, the heated water from the cpu would cause pressure, pushing water through one of the Tesla valves through the radiator, and getting replaced by cooler water from the other Tesla valve...
I have crazier ideas like closed loop fractional distillation, but only to the point of cooling the internal air, not going full cryogenic... The 2nd idea using the Tesla valve is just good to get out, I've had the idea since the bulk of the mess over the Asetek patent issue started. maybe it's a usable idea! I can't fabricate and test so... Tesla made the valve so it can't be patented by Asetek! the 2 loop idea is something I still question!
Sorry, I had to share my crazy! this is some of the odd things that occupy my mind, with no way to try! lol
