A bad day for me!
I installed a new samsung 970 evo plus on my laptop. I freshly installed windows on it. But I forgot to format the old recovery partition from the hdd. By mistake I deleted my whole hard drive . I had very important files in it.
There's no data recovery service near me. Can you guys suggest any solution to recover 50% of my data?
Thanks!
Stellat phoenix, Recuva. Both does a great job. The only issue with both of them is recovered video files wont play. But anything else than that comes out clean with a deep scan. Just try it bro.

Wow Swagato that sucks for sure man. Here's some free options that Techradar has compiled for users. Some have limitations like certain files or amount that can be recovered. Perhaps one of these could work for you to retrieve you stuff off that drive?
Be sure to read directions, for example not installing on the drive your trying to recover ect. Spinrite is a payware option I'll include below the free ones link. It's authored by a real good tech head Steve Gibson of Gibson Research. Hope this helps… See More
you get your stuff back without too much issues G'luck my friend, here's to a speedy recovery.

You can try recuva, it takes some time but it has a free version. I've used it successfully a couple of times. You should install it on a different drive than the one you want to recover.

I've never tried recovering data from an SSD but I've had a lot of luck using Glary Utilities on mechanical drives - the software is free and you're not limited to only recovering a few files before being forced to pay for it or anything.
It does try it's hardest to get you to pay for associated software packages within the Utilities package, but they're not needed for data recovery.

Ack. I always back up things I can't replace. Don't care for stuff I can still install or download, but things like save games and art not only get backed up before upgrades, but are backed up on a regular basis automatically to an external drive. They really don't account for a whole lot of space, I think my 1TB backup drive has never been more than half full. More like 1/4 filled. It has multiple versions of each file.
