Think of what you do for a living. How important is it in the great scheme of things? How important is it compared to your family, your health, and your happiness?
I'd guess it's not even close, unless that is, you are His Holiness The Dalai Lama in which case I give you permission to ignore this quote.
I'll ignore it as well, simply because my work is important to a whole lot more people than just myself. I take a great amount of pride is doing my job right and well. Sometimes, thousands of people depend on the work I do in one night. Last night, for instance, 1,719 folks relied on my ability to be timely, accurate and fast. I was, of course, all three.
