Hello dear friends! Back home for holidays after a long time away!
Long story short:
I got an opportunity and grabed it by the hair. After 16 years in the army and in logistic - management positions I got an offer (effective imediately) to change my field and line of work. The job description? Researcher, developer and technician of prosthetic limbs. Training for a few months in older methods has already started and then the newer things, research and developement of new technologies for all the personel… See More
who is in need of a prosthetic limb.
The dive is a very high one and the water is very deep. I've been in training from 6 in the morning to 21 or 22 at night. New opportunities and challenges are ahead of me. 6 months of training in another city 500 km away and then (probably) Germany and USA for more training.
Then the most demanding part will start. Application of everything that I have learned...
I'm sorry for going away so sudden and for so long, but this was something unexpected. It came like from nowhere and it was a take it or leave it one time offer.
Missed you a lot my friends! Family and GTribe time after a long time
Have a wonderful day ahead my dear friends!
Good to see you around again, good luck with your life-adventure.

Hey John, Congratulations to you and your family. Research is greatly important, especially in the field you chose. Artificial limbs make life so much easier for those who sacrificed a piece of themselves for the greater good, or even just suffered a devastating accident. You never need to apologize when you've dedicated your life to research. It's how we advance in the sciences and medicine.
Welcome home, even if just for a brief visit, my friend.
