Wow this is huge news. Especially after Steam announced they will be keeping small devs at 30% and giving more money to the big studios that already have piles of money.

Color me skeptical. Others have attempted this in the past with less-than-stellar results. On one hand, it's good to see Steam getting some competition and smaller devs getting more money, but on the other, I've seen so many half-baked "launchers" and "storefronts" that I'm just kinda not interested.
