I saw someone posting something today. They said that they are not a person anymore, just stress and sadness. My answer to them was this (I just wrote it from the heart):
"Stress and Sadness are but two facets of a whole. They just happen to be sitting higher up the mountain of human emotions at the moment. A bit of Hope, Happiness and Patience can dislodge them, sending them tumbling down that mountainside, leaving room for the things that make your life worth living, for you."

to tell them things will be alright, even if they don't know it for sure. That one sliver of hope to cling to that will possibly be enough to save them from drowning in their darkest moments. If you see someone struggling, say something. Even if you are not sure whether they are depressed or just having a bad day.
Words are free, but good feelings are priceless.

We all have that moment, that time when we have to vent some of life's steam or we will blow up, literally...having someone willing to LISTEN, no answers, no comments, just LISTEN...then when silence comes, you know you feel better, because you have nothing else to complain about, you have left yourself empty of all the negativity...I am very appreciative of those who lend themselves to helping others feel better, not because they get paid, but because it comes natural...thank you and the heavens… See More
bless you all...

I wish that I could love this a million times over... as someone who has been described as "grotesquely optimistic" by several people, I try to spread as much hope and light as I can... even in my darkest times... I just try to remind myself that it's okay to be sad and stressed, that those moments are crucial to my growth, but I don't have to live there... I'm blessed to have a wonderful husband, two amazing children... and I want better in life for myself and for them... and I'm bound and determined… See More
to get to that point eventually, but I also believe I can do so without losing my humanity... if everyone could remember that we all struggle and lend a helping hand, the world would be a better place.
Sorry, kinda went off a bit there... but I completely agree with you... if the world as a whole could let go of selfish tendencies and help others... that would be beneficial to everyone.
