Imagine never cutting yourself with an I/O shield again...
You don't have to imagine anything with the Z390 because we integrated it right into the motherboard!

A welcome inclusion, and I would expect a default on high-end platforms and increasingly common lower down.
Not cut myself on one, but my experience with removing and fitting has been a total of maybe twice.
And also visible there, I am glad you found a better solution to cosmetic panel covering up the debug display.

I've been building a long time and never got injured by an I/O shield... I did however am guilty of misplacing them sometimes . So i would vote to have all I/O shields to be integrated like that.

I have yet to cut myself on one even though I've been building PCs ever since they were introduced in the mid 90's. But I have made errors related to an I/O shield, like completing a computer and realizing one of the ground tabs on the I/O shield was covering a USB port or an ethernet port. So the built-in shield solves that problem as well.

What happens if you bend the shield? Do you have to buy a new board?

No bracket?! How can you complete expensive builds without BRACKETS?!
