Hey guys, my nephew has a Nvidia 1050, and is looking to get another graphics card.
Would he be better getting another Nvidia 1050, and put them in SLI....or get a Nvidia 1060?? and have 1 slightly better card, running with his older 1050 card??

Even if it were capable of SLI, support is nowadays being placed in the hands of the developers rather than Nvidia.
A single better card is going to be far more consistent in results.

Cards like 1060 or below it doesn't support SLI. Only 1070 and above GPUs support sli. So you can't sli. Rather you may consider upgrading to a single better card
