Horizontal lines followed by pc's complete freeze in black screen + the sound of freezing (no cursor) while in game.
Temperatures are good (both CPU+GPU)
MSI afterburner+Riva tuner uninstalled...
R9 390x 8GB...
What can it be?

well the problem is back...it let me play for around an hour or so. quit the game...went back in...happened again

Check your RAM. If you can change the slots or try with other memory modules. Then do a stress test. Also check your graphics card for any error.

Not good. Last time I had that, a faulty PSU fried my GPU.
Maybe you should check that too.

Horizontal lines indicate a graphics error most likely a power issues could be either drivers or overclocking if any check drivers try a roll back if recently updated and try undervolting your GPU, and undervolt won't affect your GPU if running at stock speeds and has been known to increase core clock in some AMD cards
