So my friend has this HP Pavilion using AMD A8-7410 with R5 graphics and an R7 M360 dedicated 2gb graphics card. Now the issue is R5 (which is only 1045 mb) is set as the primary card where the 2gb R7 M360 is the linked. All the games are automatically using R5 instead of R7 so he has to play on low graphics.
Ive tried so many solutions to switch the graphic R7 as primary but nothing works. Kindly provide me with any solutions that you think might work.
Thank you #help

I have had a similar issue with my AMD based laptop with a 8650D and a 8970M. First make sure that switchable graphics is selected in the BIOS, it may have been turned off for one reason or another. (Some actually have an option to force discreet all the time, mine doesn't but I have seen some that do, so check that out while you're in the BIOS). Next, open up Crimson and go to System, there should be a tab named Switchable Graphics, there you should be able to browse and pull up which games you… See More
want and then select High Performance. Lastly, I would recommend turning High Performance under power settings as well. Some laptops won't even kick on the discreet GPU if it is set to balanced or Power Saver.
Note: If you have an older version of Crimson you may have to go to Preferences, and then select additional settings. Then look for Switchable graphics and set from there, you may also find an option in Additional Settings that says Additional Power Savings, make sure that is unchecked.
If none of that works, make sure that the device appears in Device Manager and is enabled. Sometimes a downloaded power saver program will disable secondary GPUs on laptops.
