Greetings GTribers!
I finally got my motherboard as well as my new gpu to replace my old HIS ICE-Q X HD 7770. Everything was rushed because I really needed a working PC asap not just for gaming and entertainment but also for my line of work. I originally intended to purchase an AMD RX 560 4Gb but too bad for me they were not available. Since only two were remaining, I got no choice but to get the RX 460 instead.
Now for the silver lining.
My new card is an XFX RX 460 2Gb. Nothing fancy really… See More
but it is from XFX. They do make splendid GPUs and XFX is one of our awesome sponsors here in GTribe. Purchasing this card is my small way of showing my appreciation to XFX. Not just because I won the XFX Warpad here on GTribe but because of their continuing support. Yup, I was actually planning to buy an XFX RX 560 4Gb.
Another good thing about my new video card is that not only is it more energy efficient compared to my previous gpu, it is a way better card in terms of spec, features and performance. I can now play AAA games in medium to high settings with this baby. It is indeed an upgrade. I already updated my GTribe PC Profile.
The last good thing is about my older gpu. The HIS ICE-Q X HD 7770 I bought way back in 2012 did not die but rather it can no longer cope up with heavy duty tasks like gaming. It just reached that point even though it is still alive, kicking and still working. So I will be giving it to my uncle who does only light tasks like browsing and checking his social media. He is using integrated graphics only. Both him and my loyal 7770 will both be happy.
Game on!
Awesome! Finally we don't have the same GPU Game on my friend, well deserved! 7770 is outdated but non the less one sturdy GPU, uncle will be pleased! He can also game everything till like late 2013 on medium to high if he wishes
