I feel it is time once again to think about upgrading my computer but I'm not sure if I should just do the GPU or update more than that.
I’m looking at ones that will last me 3-5 years like my Asus GeForce GTX 690 4GB has. Not that it is failing too bad but it is having a few issues with newer games. I’m looking at these:
GTX 1080 Ti
GTX 1070
R9 Fury X
So, my question to you my fellow Tribers is which would you buy and will I have any issues with my current hardware? If I must upgrade some… See More
or everything it will probably reduce my GPU dreams. ☹
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Great input guys. From these I think I will just wait for the Vega and possibly just give it 4-5 more months to save towards purchasing the big four at once. Either that or I will with the next Maximum (Cataclysm?) contest and won't have to worry about anything.

My vote is the GTX 1080 Ti. However, your CPU might become a bottleneck.
Although, if you're willing to wait a few more months, the RX Vega could be your other option.
And then, maybe next year, upgrade to a newer CPU, Motherboard, RAM.

Sai Krishan Kumar said it best, personally if I had the money for a GPU upgrade, I would still wait to see what VEGA will bring, just going off of leaked prices and specs, there is more then enough of a rumor to VEGA being on par with the 1080, maybe even the 1080TI for the same price or less. AMD has really changed the game this year, Ryzen was a better release then anyone could have hoped for, and I think that VEGA will be just as big of a surprise. In the end, it is always your money, so don't feel… See More
bad if you decide to get something other then what people say, its a big amount of money to be spent on such a "small" item that you need to feel happy/good with your purchase.

With that 3770K there's no real point in going above GTX 1070, especially if gaming on 1080p. A GTX 1060 Ti or an RX 580 would be decent choices too, but you might want to wait a month for the new AMD Vega cards.
