Have you ever played a game just to please your child?
Last night I was showing my son Darius my stamina damage (melee weapon user) Sorceror in ESO which I'm pretty proud of - Greatsword, buffs and crits. He was like meh.
I proceed to ask him what he think would be cool. He said first I had to be a Khajiit instead of an Argonian. So I went to create a new character. Next he dictated that this Khajiit had to resemble our cat "Jynx". See second pic. He decided on a jewel adornment add-on. Next we had… See More
a Class debate until I said with this one you can summon a bear and he said OK we'll go with a Warden. He also didn't like my melee weapon play style - he wants an ice staff in the shape of the moon (Khajiit style) so I placed an order with my wife for a set of light armor and an ice staff. The character name Jynx was taken so after only 5 tries I got Jeenks. Then Darius Bergakker went to bed.
I carried on playing until I hit level 4 so I could equip the armor my wife crafted to take a screenshot for him and get his approval finally for my character. I have a friend who just started playing ESO so I'll use this character to quest with him.
